Due to the global shut down because of the COVID 19 pandemic which has requested a shut down of all but emergency services, Heal Institute has come with online treatment and fitness advice for one and all during these difficult times.
We are offering video consultations and treatment for any musculoskeletal and sport injuries to try and ease everyone’s pain and suffering with home bound PT treatment and exercises.
Our PTs and fitness advisors are available online through the day to answer any queries and try to resolve any problems with minimal to no equipment which are probably present in every household.
We can work together with active participation at both ends to resolve any acute or chronic pain, tightness, spasms and weaknesses.
A basic video consultation would consist of methods to teach self release, stretching, exercises for conditioning and strength training.
Conditions including but not limited to any joint pain, ligament injuries, frozen shoulder, arthritis and back spasms. All of these could be reduced with the techniques taught online through video conferences.
1) Online Physiotherapy Evaluation
The physiotherapist will be asking a couple of questions related to the injury to understand the exact nature of the complaint. They may also perform some movements and special tests to come to a particular diagnosis. The physiotherapist will then chart out a program for the recovery.
Once the diagnosis is made , the physiotherapist will guide the patient by letting him/her know about what the injury is , what are the causes , any lifestyle factors involved for the occurrence , ergonomic changes and modifications at work and the estimated time of recovery of the condition. They physiotherapist will prepare an exercise program specifically for the individual focusing on improving the strength, mobility , posture and body mechanics .
