According to Sports Scientist Shayamal Vallabhjee, if we break down the bio mechanics of bowling and talk about all the fundamentals components that will lead a bowler to bowl fast , there are numerous factors. It starts off with the distance and speed of the run up, towards the crease it includes back foot landing and front foot stride, further down we look at the non bowling arm, the trunk flexion, speed and distance of the follow through. Sports Scientists including Shayamal now even look at the angle of the wrist in delivery.
